Third Sector fundraising conference to take place this week

More than 20 panel discussions and presentations will be held across the two-day virtual event

Third Sector’s annual fundraising conference will take place as an online event on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 May.

More than 20 sessions will take place across the two days, with confirmed speakers including Charmaine Griffiths, chief executive of the British Heart Foundation, Abena Bentum, senior individual giving manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, and Zillah Bingley, chief executive of the Rainbow Trust.

Event sessions will focus on topics including building post-pandemic revenue strategies and promoting innovation within organisations.

In light of the challenges faced by voluntary and not-for-profit organisations during the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference is only charging a registration fee to attend the 2021 event, which is scaled according to charity size.

“I look forward to welcoming people to the fundraising conference this week,” said Emily Burt, editor of Third Sector. “It promises to be an event that brings together fascinating stories and insights after an unprecedented year.”
