This week's episode features a session from Third Sector's annual Fundraising Conference, which took place virtually last month.
Third Sector editor Emily Burt hosted a session entitled “Going back to grassroots: building up individual giving with the local community”.
She was joined by Sarah Shooter, head of development at the Theatre Royal Wakefield, and Ama Ofari-Darko, fundraising manager at the Royal Opera House.
They chatted about the underestimated benefit of individual giving within an overall fundraising strategy, building an effective membership scheme on a budget and how to thank donors.
