Tsunami - one month on: Unicef persuades restaurants to donatetakings

Unicef has persuaded almost 100 of Britain's biggest restaurants to donate between half and all of their takings on 7 February to its tsunami emergency appeal for children. Restaurants taking part are listed at squaremeal.co.uk. The event was masterminded by Phillip Howard, chef at Mayfair restaurant The Square. The charity has now raised all the money it needs for tsunami relief and reconstruction.
