Underwear as outerwear for charity run

Prostate UK is asking supporters to wear their pants outside their trousers this Father’s Day to raise money and awareness for prostate diseases.

The charity is also holding its annual 5km Pants in the Park fun run simultaneously in London, Leeds, Manchester and Andover, Hampshire, at 11am on 15 June. A fifth run will take place in Bristol on 22 June.

Celebrities including TV presenters Graham Norton, Chris Tarrant and GMTV’s Andrew Ball have decorated underpants for participants to wear.

Runners have to pay £5 to enter and are encouraged to raise as much sponsorship money as possible. The charity hopes to raise more than £15,000.
