Walledge Agency enters liquidation

A direct marketing agency blames five months of poor trading and the loss of a client on its decision to go into voluntary liquidation.

The Walledge Agency had eight clients including St Mungo's, English Heritage and Battersea Dogs Home.

"We've worked with Walledge for many years and it has played an important role in St Mungo's increasingly successful direct marketing," said Tanya English, director of fundraising and communications at St Mungo's.

Angela Walledge, founder of the agency, said a major client putting its spring campaigns on hold contributed to the company's closure.
