Weller will play for Crisis
Musician Paul Weller has confirmed that he will play at an all-day fundraiser for Crisis in London on 2 March. Weller joins indie rock idols Dirty Pretty Things, the Enemy, New Young Pony Club and others on stage, as part of the multi-media fundraiser Consequences Live.
The ‘supergroup’ was put together by Crisis ambassador and former singer Pearl Lowe. Everyone involved is giving their time freely and all money raised from the gig and spin-offs will support the nationwide expansion of Crisis Skylight – the charity’s creative spaces for homeless people.
The event and single will be accompanies by an awareness campaign, which will include TV and online activities.
Tickets for Consequences Live are now available, priced from £45.
