The Furnishing Industry Trust will hold shooting and fishing competitions this summer to raise funds. Its Big Shots day, which costs £195 to enter, will take place on 10 June and its National Fishing Day event, which costs £30 to take part, will be on 12 June.

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution has announced its first national cream tea week. The charity will provide information packs to help supporters host cream tea fundraising events during the week, which will take place between 27 August and 3 September.
