Your round-up of the latest fundraising campaigns

More than 7,000 bras were donated to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for the charity's Bag-a-Bra Day.

The charity will sell the bras to traders in west Africa, who will sell them at affordable prices to local women. Bag-a-Bra day will become an annual event.

One of the 11 teams in the RNLI's Brawn Lifeboat Challenge, the fundraising competition backed by Mercedes Formula 1 team principal Ross Brawn, has organised a national beard-growing contest. Brawns Beards is asking people to get sponsorship for growing beards. The 11 teams have a combined fundraising target of £350,000, the cost of a new lifeboat.

The Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice is asking supporters to hold fundraising lunches this month to raise funds. Trophies will be awarded for the most creative lunch and the most money raised.

Transaid, which works to improve transport systems in Africa and the developing world, is holding Transaid Week from 5 to 9 July. It will send quiz packs to businesses and ask them to raise funds by holding workplace quizzes. The charity hopes to raise £10,000 from the events.
