Your round-up of the latest charity fundraising campaigns

The Methodist Relief and Development Fund will ask supporters to host pancake-themed parties on Shrove Tuesday, 16 February.The charity is calling its campaign Pick up a Pancake. It was launched by 'Pancake Woman' last week.

Urological cancer charity Ucan raised more than £1,700 by asking businesses to display posters in their offices on which staff could write Christmas messages to each other instead of sending cards. Staff were then asked to donate the money they would have spent on cards.

The charity Steps, which supports people with lower-limb conditions, will hold a Baby Hip Health Week from 13 to 19 March. During the week it will ask supporters to hold Put the Kettle On events to raise funds.

International disaster relief charity RedR will hold its annual fundraising event Wear Red for RedR on 12 February. It will ask companies to organise fundraising events such as quizzes, poker nights and gala dinners, all with a red theme. The money will be used to help rebuild Haiti after the earthquake last month, and for the charity's programmes in Darfur and Pakistan.
