What's new: Your round-up of the latest fundraising campaigns

Healthcare support charity Breast Cancer Haven is to benefit from a new fundraising initiative from its 2008 corporate partner, Moda in Pelle.

The shoe chain for women is launching a limited-edition sandal to sell in its 30 UK stores this summer, starting next month. The new sandal, named 'Sundae', costs £60, of which 20 per cent will go to directly to the charity. A target of £7,000 has been set by the shoe firm, which plans to manufacture 600 pairs of the sandals. The funds raised will help Breast Cancer Haven to provide free support, information and complementary therapies to people affected by breast cancer.

PDSA, the veterinary charity, is asking supporters to donate old mobile phones for recycling. The charity, which can make more than £2.50 per phone, hopes to make more than £21,000.

The Kennel Club is encouraging pet owners to raise money for any charity by holding a companion dog show. Organisers pay the club £10 for a fundraising support pack and licence fee, and can hold the event anywhere.

Seafarers UK, the maritime charity, is appealing for pledges on its website to support the Royal Navy and Royal Marines abroad. The charity hopes to have 10,000 pledges by December and raise £2m.

The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation is marking its 10th birthday by donating £50 to local charities chosen by the public. Nominations are open at all branches from 13 to 21 June.
