Your round-up of the latest fundraising campaigns

SSAFA Forces Help has launched an emergency appeal for support to help wounded troops and families affected by the war in Afghanistan. As part of the campaign, journalist Martin Bell is making an appeal on BBC Radio 4. Adverts are also appearing in national newspapers and on internet banners. Supporters are encouraged to give £15, £25 or £50 by cheque or online.

Railway Children is appealing for supporters to take part in its Three Peaks Challenge, which involves travelling between Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis by train. Teams of four can enter for £3,500 or £5,000 for two teams entering together.

Donatesomeback.com is a new website that will donate 50 per cent of its sale commission to charity. Users can buy insurance and home and office products and select the charity they want to benefit.

Bliss, the special care baby charity, has launched a fundraising initiative allowing donors to set up individual funds for the charity. Supporters can start a Sunshine Fund and encourage friends and family to pay into it by direct debit or online through personalised web pages.
