Women's mentor scheme planned

Third Sector Women, a networking group set up to increase the number of female managers in charities, is launching a mentoring scheme.

The group is looking for women in senior positions who would like to share their advice and experience, and for women who feel they could benefit from mentoring.

Rachel Whale, founder of the group, said there was great demand for such a scheme. "We hope it will enable women to learn from each other in a flexible and inclusive way," she said. "A lot of women have reached the top in their careers and want to support others coming through the ranks."

The group will hold a related event on 24 April. See www.thirdsectorwomen.com/get-involved.
